From the daughter of a bus driver in a small village in Midnapore to Tokyo Olympics 2020
From a village named Karkai in West Midnapore, Pranati Nayak is all set for the 2021 Olympics to begin. The daughter of the former bus driver, Pranati was born on April 6, 1995.
After financial hardships, Pranati wanted to give her parents a comfortable life. She had access to proper training in neither Karkai nor in Midnapore. She had to travel all the way to Kolkata. Pranati Nayak is being trained by Minara Begum for the last 18 years. Pranati Nayak was 8 years old when Minara Begum started to train her. Minara Begum also took her complete responsibilities for her education and living expenses in Kolkata since her parents were unable to afford them.
Pranati won a bronze in the 2019 Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She is the sole gymnast to represent India in Tokyo Olympics. In the absence of Dipa Karmakar, Nayak will lead the Indian team after she was selected in the Six members Indian.
Despite her winning various tournaments, she could not find a way. It was only after winning gold in the 2013-14 nationals that she caught everyone’s eye and started training under the guidance of SAI.
At Kailon, we believe that beauty transcends the product. It’s an experience crafted to bring about radiance and balance, empowering you to be the best version of yourself!
Kailon applauds Pranati Nayak’s true spirit of being a champion! We wish & pray she finds her #thehappinessformula in her quest for success at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and make India proud again!
